Winter Cover
Pool Closings
We offer pool closings for all inground swimming pools. Closings include lowering the pool water below the skimmer, blowing out and winterizing all pool lines including the maindrain, removing drain plugs, plugging wall returns and skimmers. removing of baskets and cartridge or DE elements, turning off of pumps / timeclocks, adding winterization chemicals to the pool as appropriate.
Pool Openings
Pool Openings typically don’t involve draining the pool. Typically we can clean and clear your pool utilizing our equipment and chemicals. Services include reinstalling all baskets and plugs, reviewing electronics and starting up of pool equipment.
Waterbag Covers / Tarps
Other pool companies will install solid pool covers with waterbags, strings or buckets. We feel that this is extremely dangerous as even the best swimmers can easily drown if they fall onto one of these as the cover will envelope around them and won’t allow them to swim. We will only install properly anchored safety covers.
Equipment Warranty and Repair
Wilmington Pools has trained service technicians who are authorized to work on all makes and models of swimming pool equipment. Additionally we are a warranty center for all major manufacturers of pool and spa equipment. We diagnose the problem, not just how to address the symptoms.
